Eines der interessantesten archäologischen Denkmäler Mitteleuropas ist der Limes.
Erst kürzlich zur Liste des Welkulturerbes der UNESCO angemeldet, beeindruckt der äußere obergermanisch-rätische Limes mit seinen Kastellen, Limestürmen, Befestigungsanlagen und musealen Einrichtungen die Besucher.

 

 

Die deutsche Limes-Strasse erstreckt sich über eine Länge von mehr als 500 km von Rheinbrohl bis Regensburg, und bietet dem Reisenden eine Vielzahl von Möglichkeiten
die Geschichte des Limes zu ergründen und bleibende Erinnerungen zu behalten.
