Mama's Chocolate Muffin

This bug takes part in the family competition of the Angus Podgornij team. The goal is to travel the most per year. The next announcement of results will be on 1st of August 2011!

These bugs started their Journey on 1th of August, 2008. On every anniversary we'll check how far they traveled during the last year. The winner bug's owner may collect the trophy!

Outside broadcasting of the APTR (Angus Podgornij Team Race)! LIVE!!!

The racers are warming up in their home cache Spring Gerje. What a challenge for them! They have to travel as much as possible, but more than the others! With a very carefully selected temptation will every each competitor try to convince the fellow cachers to move them far-far away. Wonder, which wins the August cup? The thirsty beer-drinker DAM? The sweet-toothed MCM? The lazy ESR or the PAA’s creativity? We’ll see soon!

With their owner-trainer the racers are flying to the misty Highland. After hanging around for two weeks they found the perfect cache:

The winner is... Mama's Chocolate Muffin!

DAM traveled 3000 km, ESR traveled 3216 km, PAA traveled 21545 km, and the winner MCM traveled 23853 kms during the last year. Mama says special thanks to the cachers who moved her bug to win: SkiBums(UK) (18538.4 km), Moneydork (1202.3km), W.E.K.A. (490.1 km), the soups (436.1km), SouthernAugurs (370.6 km), mcwomble (310.1 km), BirdFlu (307 km), SaltyCacheNutZ (77.2 km), MYTROX (60.9 km), Sallies (25.5 km), grue666 (15.6 km) and YuGeo4 (2 km).

MCM starts the new year with a long relaxing after winning, while DAM left his last year's-home-cache at last, many thanks for Onkel Schalke for that! Tuuntjefloiter took him afterwards quickly to Sweden. ESR still jumping around in England, with Busy Lissy Bunch and conlanabu. PAA traveled some miles as a miracle...

MCM got so tired to win the last race! ESR is still in England and collected miles diligently with pneurotic. DAM happily traveled with GGWG, Laboline and Labb, who took him from Sweden to Norway, to the northest point our bug ever been, thanks! Jokemeister wrote us a joke about that running out of time and still made a long jump with PAA, to Thailand! We are smiling :)

DAM travels up and down at the far north with TomJonny and magnum&maroon. We'll do the same someday :) ESR must know the Island very well by now, as she traveled some more miles with kayeclan and bethyclyde. MCM made the first jump after winning, thans for ellivremos1 and Bitsprayer for that!

MCM still rests on her oars, while her whole family moving! Lisemoen kept DAM at home for the cold, bad winter months, but when spring came, DAM landed in a cache at last. ESR's running up&down, windswept, Mr Truffles, Dallan 72, Smithcox, LITTLECASSIE kept her on the move, grue666 took her some multiple routes, to collect even more miles, thanks for that! This year PAA's advanced the most so far, as ZaPPas flew with her back from Thailand! She's jumping up&down in Germany from that with andreashk, Bossis, Fanta2, Ute und Conny and Nerre.

In the final two of them only moves: MCM found a new cache by timgrin and ESR with Ursus Bear.

And now, here is the 1st of August: Panni's Artless Artist wins!!

MCM traveled 774 km, ESR traveled 1915 km, DAM traveled 3028 km, and the winner  PAA traveled 16615 kms during the last year. Panni says special thanks to the cachers who moved her bug to win: ZaPPaS (8962 km), jokemeister (7412km), Fanta 2 (131 km), andreashk (34km), Nerre (34 km), Bossis (15 km), Ute und Conny (12 km).

And now, everybody is ready for the next race?  ESR does!

ESR starts the new competition's year at the seaside, and relax :) MCM discovers more of South Island.
Unfortunately DAM and PAA seems to be missing by now.
s2q took ESR to Arizona, with this she can win! We wish everyone could play again...

Aaand YESSS! Every wish should come true this way! Nerre took back PAA to the game, and traveled with her around Germany and Ireland, collecting more, than 4000 km's until now! Thanks for him! However, ESR hardly can be beated this year, as after two short jump around Arizona with johntherabbit and Norfolkbirder, lakelady5 took her to British Columbia. There she hitchhiked Rockislander to Newfoundland and back, this was a nice, long jump in the counter, thanks! MCM's still in the nice South Island, and travels up-and-down with tokalosh, Pukekos from Pukerau, oliviay and kizzya.

And right before the target, PAA and Nerre's overtaking! With a travel to the beautful island of Mauritius and back! What a surprise!
Only two weeks left of this year's race!

Aaand... this is the final, PAA continues her journey with Nerre and wins!!!
DAM traveled unfortunately 0 km, MCM traveled 465 km, ESR traveled 20222 km, and the winner  PAA traveled 23732 kms during the last year. Panni says special thanks to Nerre, who helped her bug back to the game and collected the miles with her to win all the year! Thank you very much in the name of the whole family!
