Current Goal

I am an Unofficial 2005 White Jeep Travel Bug. Visit (visit link) for more information about the real contest. I hope to give people a chance to take my picture as the Official Jeeps are being hoarded away.

Retrieve It from a Cache 09/06/2005 NBJPoppa retrieved it from Key West Storm Washington   Visit Log

Found this Travel Bug today -- finally! FunnyNose told me about this Travel Bug almost two months ago, but it was picked up before I could get there. Will pass this on soon.

Grab It (Not from a Cache) 08/31/2005 Brainbumps grabbed it   Visit Log

Ok. So I've explained this to FunnyNose in an email, but I might as well make a more public statement here too. I just found out this morning that my other half had taken our friends kids out like a month (or two?) ago to introduce them to geocaching. Ok. Sounds cool, right? However (and there is where I, myself, sigh), she forgot to TELL me she had picked up this TB and has had it in her car since then! I, as the 'real' geocacher in the family, am utterly horrified this has happened - especially given the ironic mission of this TB! So....it is with my humblest apologies to FunnyNose and the local caching community that I will now, sometime soon (I promise!) re-release this bug to go forth and educate us heathen. Thanks for your understanding.

Since the log entry says it was taken on July 11, I will go ahead and mark this TB missing. Hopefully it will turn up in another cache sometime. It has been known to happen. I might add that the cacher who picked up the bug didn't log this cache.

Having a couple tb's gone missing across the country there have been times I wish I could see the log book. Been trying to remember to take a pic of the log book if I visit and the bug is missing. Sorry for the lateness, got home and got busy, your note reminded me of the pic I had taken. Hope "Etiquette" shows up soon.

Poor "Etiquette" has been bugnapped even before her journey began. I haven't been in to check the log books as the field is closed for turf repair. I have issued 2 new bugs http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=172652 and http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=173388 hopefully they will continue her goal. And another new bug http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=173178 which is a white hummer made by the same company.
