This city-fox wants to travel in urban surroundings. Short trips to the country-side are - however - allowed/encouraged. Pictures/stories of (city-)foxes are appreciated. Finland is the country The Fox prefers, but short visits abroad are also OK. This city-fox is on the move, so don't place it in unsolvable mystery caches, or similar.
Me and my geocaching wife (aell65), happened to see a fox (with the fascinating Latin name Vulpes Vulpes) on the street where we live (this is in Helsinki, the capital of Finland), shortly after our house had been built, and we had moved in. This was an early Sunday morning, and I was really amazed. The first time I ever saw a fox in the wild, and that on my home street. The foxes in Helsinki (so called city-foxes), are really useful. Rabbits and hares would be even more of a problem, if it weren't for e.g. foxes. Rabbits (these are domesticated rabbits, set free, or their offspring) are nowadays a big problem (at least according to some) in Helsinki. Foxes are their natural enemy. In our neighbourhood we see hares almost daily. Once I've observed 5 hares in our backyard, not that I mind, but there are - of course - limits also to the number of hares (or rabbits) that one wants to have in the neighbourhood.
The fox attached to the TB tag is a well-worn toy, that our older children played with, years ago. Bought from a museum in Turku almost 20 years ago.

Es tut mir wirklich leid, dieser TB ist in meiner Tasche ganz nach unten gerutscht. Wurde eben bei der Vorbereitung für die GC Reise gefunden. Du wirst mitkommen nach Barcelona und von dort geht deine Reise weiter!
