Bin dann mal weg…


Ich bin`s Toni Turtle.
Ich hab viel zu tun und bin dauernd unterwegs. Mal hierhin, mal dorthin, wieder zurück und dann woanders hin. Ich bin gerne unterwegs, aber es ist auch ganz schön stressig. Bin ja auch nicht mehr der jüngste. Auch wenn man mir das nicht ansieht.
Deshalb hab ich mir jetzt mal was ganz anderes überlegt. Pilgern! Ja, in echt.
Da ist man auch unterwegs, aber ganz in Ruhe. Kein Stress, keine Termine.
Viel Zeit zum nachdenken, erleben und genießen.
Den Jakobsweg entlang, oder zumindest so ungefähr, bis nach Santiago de Compostela.
Man kann das zu Fuss machen, wie Hape Kerkeling, oder mit dem Fahrrad, wie Bettina Selby.
Ist aber auch beides ganz schön anstrengend. Deshalb habe ich mir da was anderes überlegt.
Ich lasse mich von meinem Boss in einen gemütlichen Cache legen.
Dort ruhe ich mich aus und lasse es mir gut gehen, bis mich jemand nettes abholen kommt und mich zum nächsten Cache, Richtung Santiago, oder zumindest so ungefähr, mitnimmt.
Von dort schicke ich meinem Boss dann eine Karte, oder ein paar Fotos, und sehe zu, das ich auf die gleiche weise wieder nach Hause komme.
Genialer Plan, oder?

Up and away ...

it's me: Toni Turtle.
I have plenty to do and I'm always on the move. Sometimes here and sometimes there, back again and somewhere else.
I like to be on the way, but on the other hand it is stressful too.
I am no spring chicken, you know? Even when you can't see it.
This is the reason why I planed to give the horse another color ;-)
To make a pilgrimage.
Yes, really. In the flesh. For sure.
The decided advantage is you are even on the road but you have all the time in the world. No stress, no dates, no deadlines.
A lot of time to think over, experience and enjoy.
Along the Way of St. James, or at least so about to Santiago de Compostela.
You can do it by foot, like Hape Kerkeling or by bike like Bettina Selby. Both quite arduously. Therefore I considered something else.
Caches are comfortable and my sherpa has to position me in. There I rest and have a good time until someone prettily picks me up and takes me to the next cache on the way to Santiago or at least more or less. Thence I send a postcard to my boss or some pictures and I try to get home the same way.
Brilliant plan, isn't it?
