Domo!!! As a "JAPAN Autumn 2008" geocoin, she dreams of having an exciting trip from cache to cache, cacher to cacher, all over Earth, and eventually make her way back to JAPAN, either Westward or Eastward. Likes not so hot weather, foliage, all Autumn harvests, especially Rice. After reaching Japan, she would like to make another exciting journey returning to her owner in CAMBRIDGE, MA. A Geocoin for Japan Autumn 2008. This coin was designed and commissioned by a cacher in Japan and is available locally from them. A great design with a lot of authentic Japanese imagery and a ton of colors! Front side with colorful "Momiji" (Japanese Maple) and Yellow "Ichou" (Ginkgo) trees, and GC icon. Reverse side has a large "Mika-Zuki" (Crescent Moon) with "Inaho" (ears of rice) engraved, and symbolic "Aka-Tombo" (red dragonflies). The Unique icon is of "Aki" (Autumn) Chinese character over "Mika-Zuki" and "Aka-Tombo". Diameter of 1.5 inches, 3.5mm thickness, and Shiny Gold finish.
