Current GOAL

If this geocoin is shown to you, please explain to the person that is showing it, this geocoin is not to be kept.
This geocoin is owned by me and it needs to be dropped in a geocache.
The purpose of this geocoin is to travel from cache to cache.
Thank you...

The goal of this coin is to spread the message of Bike Awareness, while travelling from cache to cache anywhere in the world.

Please don't use the "took it" to or "visited" option, just drop the geocoin in the next cache you visit that is save and big enough to hold coins.
Let others enjoy and log this geocoin too.
It is NOT the goal of this geocoin to make as much miles as possible, neither to keep track of all geocaches you have visited. Please use your own trackable to do so.

Please be careful to drop this coin at events. Those are high risk place to loose coins.

The above mentioned logs will be removed.
 Thank you...

About This Item

Todie's Wild Ride; Look Twice geocoin

This coin is part of the Bike Awareness Project and Race. It is a project/race initiated by USA geocacher Rockin Roddy in response to the death of his dear friend and caching companion Tod Phillips who was cut off by a left turning vehicle too much in a hurry to notice oncoming traffic. Tod was the 3rd member of Team Rod & Tod w/KAboom. Tod died on August 12th 2008

Speeding, inattention, inexperience, fatigue, drugs and alcohol and illegal manoeuvres are given reasons for causing accidents. YOU have the power to do something to control each of these factors. Give a good example while driving/riding your self. Practice what you have learned in your driving lessons. Drive save and watch for the more vulnerable traffic participants. Start a discussion and make people aware they can help save lives to keep to the rules, be alert and drive save.

Nearly 900 geocoins, with the message of Bike Awareness are travelling for the Todie’s Wild Ride project now and the number of participants and travelling coins are growing. Imagine what the effect of spreading this message can be.
