Current Goal

I need to find scary creatures to ask for directions so please take me to spooky places. Take picts of me by cemetery gates and signs, outside scary movies, haunted houses, graveyards, and other attractions that pop up around Halloween. I’ve always wanted to see Knott’s Scary Farm if you’re going that way! And if you visit local haunted places, don’t forget to tell us the scary legends that go with them!

About This Item

Skell the Scary Skull of Mummywale

Psst, you over there. Yeah, you--Have you seen my body? I have been stuck in Mummywale haunting trick or treaters for more years than I can count on my fingers! Oh, wait, I don’t have any of those left. Please help me escape. I want to make it back to the Nevernever—it’s the last place I saw my toes! When you meet any escapees from otherworldly addresses, let me talk to them to ask for those directions while you take picts of me with the ghosts and skeletons and ghouls. Be creative, maybe, just maybe, I can find a crack to the netherworld in one of these places and slip on home into the unearthly plane. Maybe my toes are looking for me, too! And my collar bone, and my tibia and fibula, and my C7 vertebra, and my humerus—hey, stop that giggling, this is no laughing matter for a skull without a funny bone!

More adventures of Skell the Scary Skull of Mummywale, entitled:

Skel Goes to the Drive-In...
OR
Where Are My D*mned Feet!

Skel the bodiless skull, hip and groovy,
Went to the drive-in a horror flick to see.
So scary was it,
Everyone fled in a fit,
Leaving Skel screaming, "Help! I can't movie!"

Ohhh a ghostly old movie drive-in! Can't imagine why Skel would get so scared after his time in Mummywale with all the ghouls and such...Maybe they were showing Clifford the Big Red Dog. A giant K-9 would likely scare naked bone-based lifeforms.

Thanks Paco49er for the date at the movies!

Oh look, Skel has been skulking around in all the scariest places…I got the following postcard from him, it was addressed to Muddy Buddies. Sorry it didn't get to you, but you know how the intergalactic post office is.

Dear Muddy Buddies,
Glad you got away from the Aliens, but you missed quite a ride through the galaxy. Got a little scary when the life support failed…but then I remembered I don’t breath much. The alien’s of course had to escape in a pod, which miraculously landed right on the site of the Alien Pod geocache…go figure.
Skel

Then I saw that Quossum came to the rescue and whisked Skel from scary old texas…hey wait, we like scary…No, it was time to move on. Skel exhausted his search for body parts there. So where to go, hmmmm….

Ah! A Crash Landing in Roswell…

Skell was getting really depressed
No luck had he in his body-part quest.
Till he visited a Roswell crash
An alien body part cache!
Now he’s coolest with bones best of the best!

Think what a skeleton you could put together from the Roswell crash cache! You’d be the envy of every skeleton in the Nevernever, Skel! Here’s hoping there was a bone or two left hanging around for you!
Hmm…maybe that’s why you went to the depths of the GREAT PIT OF CARKOON…CARkoon…carkoon…koon…

Now that’s a pretty big pit. I’d be scared to go down there, but no doubt Skel will duck down to the depths and show off whatever bones he may have snuck out of the Roswell crash site. I must say the picture looked very scary indeed…I didn’t know his eyes glowed! shudder

Time to say good-bye to Skel. Does this cache sound scary enough for him? (It is right next to a church, but still...) Good luck, Skel!
