Current GOAL

This coin is meant to travel and spread awareness about the fact that we should always be careful on the road and pay special attention to motorcyclists. Being courteous and checking carefully to all those sharing the road with us should be a priority. Whoever we are, we all want to get home to our families safe and sound. Look left, look right, look bike

About This Item

This coin is part of the Todie's Wild Ride bike safety and awareness race started by Rockin Roddy. On August 12, 2008, Tod Phillips, one third of Team Rod & Tod w/KAboom, was riding a motorcycle when he was killed in an accident caused by a driver who didn't see him.

Tod was just 49 years old.

A special thanks to JohnMac56 for the cointest and releasing this traveler and messenger

Not sure how the geocaching site is working the issue of grabbing a coin from a cache other than the one it's listed in so it shows me retrieving it from Winey and placing it in there. It was actually retrieved from Tehachapi Treasure in New Orleans and dropped in Winey in Texas. I thought this would be a perfect cache for the traveler's message. He has a great view of the freeway from this cache. Thanks again for sending it out our way to spread it's very important message.

Although we did visit Boom Ditty Boom today, that is not where we found this very special coin. It was in Tehachapi Treasure. Perhaps someone moved it very recently and hasn't had the chance to log it. In any case, thank you for this very special memorial for your friend. I shall respectfully move it on for others to see and know its mission. Thank you for sending it our way.
