Current Goal

Tell a short story about committing the terrible sin of anger. Nothing incredibly evil. An example may be to be irritated by that guy who left his blinker on for miles, and miles, and miles...

About This Item

Anger

While travelling north through New Mexico I encountered a vortex where 7 deadly ducks emerged from the gates of hell (not Hell, the flaming sort, but the lowercase hell where all the mischevious critters live).

The only way to escape from these creatures is to tell a story about a specific sin you made. In this case the sin of anger.

Since this is little "h" hell, your sin can be pretty petty and small. Anything larger and the poor ducks tend to explode into flames. Leave the stronger sins to the big flaming ducks from the big "H".

Each deadly duck is tagged with its own special tracking number. See how far you can take it!

Discovered It 9/15/2023 MiriCach discovered it   Visit Log

TL;DR: We don't have the trackable (and feel sorry for you if it means it is still missing), but stumbled upon its discovery code.

The story: I discovered this trackable/coin when I cracked the cache "Msportis Coinlihaus der 2." and then was able to reverse-engineer some Coins/TBs of the owner Msporti as well. By pure chance / luck while testing out possibilities for this I also came across this TB/coin. We hope that it's okay that we discover it, if not, feel free to delete this log. TFTC/TFTT 😉

It is with much regret that I must report that Deadly Duck Anger's whereabouts are currently unknown. He was visiting The Rotal Park Stash when it was plundered, and he has vanished. Who knows, his anger may have resurfaced and he may have played a part in this cache's demise himself, and gained his freedom.

My sympathy goes out to all who crossed his path and remember the little fella with some affection.

Deadly Duck :Anger has been enjoying his week with us, We live at Sandringham on the shore of Port Phillip Bay, and he requested we upload a picture of him enjoying the view, although it was overcast and windy today. He has also made friends with Jessie our dalmatian, and he has got the upper hand when they wrestle. Looks like he will leave us tomorrow, and will be consigned to a nearby cache.

Geoff, Pam and Rachel found Deadly Duck:Anger, in a leafy location between the Melbourne suburbs of Richmond and Hawthorn, a stones throw from the Yarra River. He was extremely frustrated at being so close to the river yet entombed in a cache in a hole in a tree.
We will try to find a new cache for him to call home for a while before continuing his exploration of Australia.

Just wanted to say we've finally dropped off Deadly Duck: Anger. He hissed and spat the whole time, especially when we couldn't find our first cache attempt in Australia. On our second cache attempt, we got him to a new home Down Under. We'll post photos later. He demanded only the best on his travels, and stayed in quite posh hotels. Best of luck to whoever gets him next!

We originally spotted the Deadly Duck in the Kerberos Cache a month ago. He frightened us with his hissing, and so we left him. But he kept appearing in our dreams (more like nightmares!) insisting that we keep him travelling. So today we were compelled to return to the cache to pick him up. We do have an interesting voyage planned for him, and hope it placates him. Something that makes us angry? When you have to do someone else's job for them because they don't do it! We both have experienced this many many times.

We picked up the little devil, hiding in the Another Brick in the Wall cache. He hissed and snapped at us, then demanded we curry his favor by telling a tale of what angers us. We could do nothing but obey.

What angers us most is people who don't give much information about where to park near a cache, or if there are special restrictions in an area, such as fees or permits. 😈
