Current Goal

Hello, my name is Cindy and I'm a CinderBlock. My only goal is to hit caches all over. Now, I'm not the lightest TB on the block but I am unique.

About This Item

Cindy

Please take me where you may so that I can see these caches and the world. I already know I will probably end up at the short caches because of my weight but thats ok. Since I wont fit in any of the caches just place me near the cache and cover me up well. You may also paint me if you wish because when I started out I had the personality and appearance of a brick. If you decide to do this make sure you post pictures to the Travel Bug page so that my owner umc (The Man) can see how I look. Thanks and happy caching.

Whooops, I had a brick head moment and did something I maybe shouldn't have, now I have two children to show for it. You can find both of them at the links below:

Grab It (Not from a Cache) 7/24/2004 fosterbass grabbed it   Visit Log

Picked this one up at the Harriman Pirates event. Put it back down quickly. Man, she's a heavy one! Signed it upside down on the inside and I'm logging it back into the event cache.

Retrieve It from a Cache 7/18/2004 M&M Melted retrieved it from The 2004 Long Island Summer Cache Event New York   Visit Log

Picked up Cindy at the 2004 Long Island Cache event.. for some insane reason. I figure we will set her loose to crush some local micros before finding her a proper home somewhere on Long Island.😁

Sorry I didn't get a chance to take Cindy to Hooters for a photo session 🙂 Check JBadger's note for pictures of Cindy at the Long Island Picnic where I left her. Also, I noticed that the news crew got some footage of Cindy while they were filming everyone, I told the reporter she was pretty famous, and a little of her history, maybe she'll make the news. 😁 When someone finds out when the segment is going to air, I'll update this log, the reporter said the segment will be viewable online, at the stations website.

Retrieve It from a Cache 6/12/2004 IV_Warrior retrieved it from Sun & Stars Oceanfront Beach Bonfire! Maryland   Visit Log

This is my second time meeting Cindy, and this time I brought her home with me 😁 She said she really enjoyed the beach, but was ready to head back to the forests. She did get a chance to meet the ponies of Assateague, which are almost as famous as she is......(well, OK, maybe they're a little more famous)

I caught some of Cindy's antics from Polgara's Ocean City Beach Bonfire Event. I tought I'd post them for her fans.

  • Frolicking With the Ponies Cindy enjoyed the wild ponies on Assateague Island.
  • Cindy's Latest Victim Another cache falls prey to Cindy's appetite for destruction.
Disclaimer: This was a legitimate ACCIDENT with witnesses. The cache was NOT purposely destroyed.
  • Cindy, Come Back! Cindy, tired of all the attention, decides to swim across the Atlantic. Next stop, London?

UMC, this travelbug was waaaayyy out of control over the weekend...

Cindy the CInderblock had the traditional spent weekend in Ocean City, first she got drunk out on the porch, and the next thing i knew I caught her with a jumpoff...she was in the basement with one of my dad's homemade cylindric cement block anchors, perhaps Aaron the anchor? Bad Cindy! BAD BAD! Well...maybe it wasn't soooo bad! She wanted to take him with her on her travels, but he wasn't up for it.
