Please drop this item in rural OR Premium Member Only caches. Do not place it in an urban cache or abandon it at a caching event. Transport the bug in the original plastic bag for as long as the bag lasts; the bag keeps the trackable clean and prevents tangling with other items. Otherwise, take the travel bug anywhere you wish. No permission is needed to leave the U.S.
Photos in the travel bug logs are appreciated. I will be re-post them here, where they can be seen by other cachers.
Visitor's patch from Capitol Reef National Park. The patch depicts pictographs (image painted with pigments) and petroglyphs (image pecked into the rock face by a stone or tool) left by the Fremont culture, who occupied the Fremont River valley before the time of the Cliff Dwellers at Mesa Verde. There are many fine examples in Capitol Reef National Park, some of which are readily accessible to travelers. There are other examples of Fremont art (and structures) found in remote canyons throughout much of southeastern Utah. Some of the most spectacular panels are now submerged below Lake Powell. Another impressive site that can be driven to is Newspaper Rock, along the road to the southeastern entrance of Canyonlands National Park.
