My goal: Have my picture taken at the Louvre Pyramid and the obelisk at Place de la Concorde in Paris, France and then return home to Coventry, England.
I am part of a series of Egyptian amulet Travel Bugs released by the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum in Coventry, England. Amulets were small charms which some people believed had magical or protective properties.
Please help me reach my goal and tell me about your adventures along the way. (It would be great if you could also take lots of pictures!) I've got a lot of travelling to do in a short amount of time – I hope to come back to the Herbert by February 2011!
If I return, I'll be going on display to complement our Secret Egypt exhibition. I'll be accompanied by my online journal and the photographs taken of me during my travels.
I hope to inspire visitors to explore their communities and to inform them about the influence of Egypt both in Britain and abroad.
It's a big task for a little Travel Bug, but I hope you'll help me!
