Ich bin ein kleiner Frischling und gehöre zur Waldkindergartengruppe "die Frischlinge" aus dem Kloster Eberbach im Rheingau. Ich möchte etwas von der Welt sehen. Die Kinder schicken mich deshalb auf eine Reise in andere Orte und Länder. Wenn Du mich mit auf die Reise nimmst und meinen neuen Aufenthaltsort bei geocaching.com einträgst und einen Gruß an die Frischlinge dazuschreibst, ist das für uns wie eine Postkarte aus dem Urlaub. Danke!

I´ m a little "Frischling" (a young pig) and belong to the Kindergarten-Kid-group "Frischlinge" from Kloster Eberbach in the Rhinegau. I´ d like to see the world. That´s why the kids are sending me out to travel other places and countries. My kids (ages 8 and 4) found this travel bug at the "big fountain" and thought it was too cute, so we brought it along with us. The "fountain" hide was along a lovely trail at Henry Cowell State Park here in Santa Cruz, California, famous for having the oldest government park to preserve a natural resource, the redwood trees. We hiked from the campground and up to the summit lookout, which is on the sandhill (yes, ocean sand at the top of a mountain), then down towards the river and into the trees where we found your little pig. We will try to find a nice spot to send it along this weekend.

Greetings!
Picked up Frischling from San Francisco. It was pretty lonely in there for the pig; there were no other travel bugs in the hotel. The pig took a ride on the BART across the bay to the Berkeley area. Frischling wanted to visit my beehives, so I took a picture of the pig at the entrance of one hive.

I will make sure to drop the pig off at an interesting place.

viel Spaß in meiner Lieblingsstadt San Francisco in den USA.

Golden Gate Park, Golden Gate Bridge, Cliffwater House, Piers, Napa Valley, Berkeley, ... ach es gibt so viel zu sehen.

Ich hoffe, bald gibt es ein paar schöne Orte in den USA für Dich zu sehen.
