This humpback whale would like to travel around the world, visiting and being photographed at financial institutions everywhere. Banks, brokerage house, and your financial advisor's office are all perfect examples of places the whale would like to visit. Eventually, it would be good to have the whale back at Green Retirement, Inc.
7/15/17: Banco is finally home at Green Retirement, Inc. and has changed from a male whale to a female mouse. Good to her home. She will continue to travel.
This whale has been the mascot of Pacific Life Insurance Company since 1997. In that it does not have a name and because I am a huge Bond fan, I decided to name the whale, "Banco". In the original Ian Fleming Bond books, Bond is frequently seen playing a card game called "baccarat". When a player says "Banco", it means that player is betting or matching the amount the bank is betting. In essence, the player is stating that his or her cards are equal or better than the bank's cards...or is the player bluffing?
