Hello, I am Jill. . My brother Jack and I are twins wanting to see the world
and all the beautiful things in nature.
I am starting my first adventure on the East Coast of America.
My twin brother is starting on the Canary Islands
just off the Northwest Coast of the mainland Africa.
Maybe we can meet somewhere back in the middle. That would be great!
'Jack and Jill' is a classical nursery rhyme in the English speaking world.
The origin of the rhyme is obscure.
The rhyme is known to date back to at least the eighteenth century.
Jack and Jill went up the hill
To fetch a pail of water.
Jack fell down and broke his crown,
And Jill came tumbling after.
Up Jack got, and home did trot,
As fast as he could caper,
To old Dame Dob, who patched his nob
With vinegar and brown paper.
