I want my travel bug to spread cheerfulness across the country and travel from Hawaii back to Maryland. Though it would be happy to travel anywhere.
This travel bug was originally released in 2011 by my son to help him earn the geocaching merit badge. Its' purpose was to share about the scout law. Sadly it went missing after only traveling a short time. I was inspired to recreate a similar TB and re-relase it with my now EAGLE SCOUT sons on our first trip to Hawaii.
It is a wooden smiley face that says a scout is cheerful and now has a duplicate TB tag attatched. The original one pictured had a 100 years of scouting tag attached to it.
