This and several other of my travel bugs are shamelessly being discovered at events (mostly in Europe) while actually moving elsewhere, or being missing for years. The tracking numbers were placed on Pinterest and Facebook pages, and on at least two lists that are being taken from event to event. I delete the discovery logs when I see them, to eliminate confusion among cachers who are actually holding the bugs. Some people just cheat at everything.
Please drop this item in rural OR Premium Member Only caches. Do not place it in an urban cache or abandon it at a caching event. Transport the bug in the original plastic bag for as long as the bag lasts; the bag keeps the trackable clean and prevents tangling with other items. Otherwise, take the travel bug anywhere you wish. No permission is needed to leave the U.S.
Photos in the travel bug logs are appreciated. I will be re-post them here, where they can be seen by other cachers.
In 1889, the Territorial Legislature commissioned what was then known as the University of the Territory of Oklahoma in Norman to create the Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History on its campus. Operated by the University of Oklahoma, the museum flourished.
On May 1, 2000, the museum opened a beautiful 195,000 square foot facility, welcoming its visitors to explore the cultural and natural history of this great state. Today, the Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History features 7 galleries, interactive displays and fossils from Oklahoma and around the world. It boasts over 6 million items in twelve collection divisions and is one of the world's largest university-based natural history museums.
I was there at a meeting in 2000 and again as a tourist in 2010. It is an impressive place—the fossil history and Native American displays are especially good. I bought this patch in the gift shop—always on the lookout for something to convert into a travel bug.

Wanted to drop a TB here but the container was to small. Putting on some travel miles for now, will hopefully find somewhere to let this get back out there and moved on some more.
