Berta, die dumme Kuh

Servus, ich bin Berta. Und ich bin wirklich eine dumme Kuh.
Bei einem wunderschönen Aprés Ski Abend im letzten Winter habe ich "Nubbel“, einen total netten Kölner kennengelernt, der all die schönen Kölner Stimmungslieder kannte.
Karneval bin ich dann nach Köln gekommen und wir hatten 6 tolle Tage. Wir haben auf den Straßen getanzt, in überfüllten Kneipen geschunkelt, zahllose Bier aus so kleinen Reagenzgläsern getrunken, uns die Stimme heiser gesungen und das Leben genossen. Und dann hat sich Nubbel im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes aus dem Staub gemacht. Dienstag Nacht hatte man ihn auf einmal aus der Kneipe getragen. Ich konnte kaum glauben, wie viele Menschen von ihm verführt wurden und ihm die Schuld für all das Schlechte gaben. Nubbel war ein ganz fieser Character. Auch ich bin auf ihn reingefallen. Seit Aschermittwoch war ich nun alleine in Köln. Als bayrische Kuh bin ich aber nicht glücklich. Ich will zurück auf meine Weide nach Berchtesgaden an den Königssee. Dort habe ich dann auch Zeit, Nubbel zu vergessen.

Berta, the silly Cow

„Servus“, I am Berta. And for sure, I am a really silly cow.
At a wonderful Aprés Ski evening in last winter, I met “Nubbel”, a really nice guy from cologne, who knew all the beautiful folksongs from cologne.
For the fascinating Carnival, I traveled to Cologne to meet Nubbel again and I had wonderful six days. We danced on the streets, we swayed in crowded pubs, drank numberless beer out of kind of small test tubes, sang our voices hoarse and enjoyed life…it was great!
But suddenly Nubbel was gone! Tuesday evening, the last night of the cologne`s carnival, thousands of drunken people carried him out of the pubs and buried him. I could not believe, how many people were seduced by “Nubbel” and how many gave him the guilt for all the bad, what happened in these days of the carnival. He has really a bad character! Since “Aschermittwoch” I was alone and lonely in Cologne. As a Bavarian cow, I was not happy there. I want back to my green grasses in Berchtesgaden at the Koenigssee.
There, I have time to forget and to look for a really nice and faithful bull.
You see, I am a really silly cow.
But, well, at the moment I am in the US.
“Katerlumpi” another german guy, who was not true to me, brought me from Munich, where I rested in a beer garden only some dozen miles away from my goal, to Rhode Island. It`s really nice here, too, but I do not speak English and I am really home sick!
Please help me coming back home…to Germany, to Bavaria, to my grass and mountains, where for sure, a Bavarian bull waits for me…
