In search of Mr. Lady Bug.
Lady bugs are suppose to bring good luck. They do not bite, maybe that is part of their luck. They come in many colors but the most comon is red with 2 black spots. Farmers use lady bugs to control scale insect and other harmful insects. A dozen lady bugs can save a fruit tree from ruin. It's no wonder people like them.
Why do we call them lady bugs? The name lady bug or lady beetle was given in honor of the Virgin Mary. Not all lady bugs are female as we might suspect, there are males also.
The next time you find a lady bug, put it to work near your favorite garden plant.

We found this lost little lady bug at Pt Sal and saw she had been there for a long time. It's time for her to grow wings and fly with us for a little. Not sure where she will end up, but at least she is off the top of that hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Guess it I must have made a mistake in logging this . . . somehow it still says someone else has it BUT it is in Meagan's Pt. Sal Cache. 😁 Hopefully the next person will know how to log it correctly. THANKS!!!

Found the MRS in Rancho Cache-o (GCW91A). She's going to visit with us a bit and then be on her merry way. People in our area tend to enjoy micro caches, so we'll try to move her when we're on a road trip. 😁 We'll keep you updated and try to move her soon. We don't want her missing her hubby too much.
