About This Item

Generic geocoin, redone

This is a replacement for my charliewhiskey's Generic geocoin, which is missing.  

This consists of a photocopy of the coin's image, along with two metal washers glued inside a coin capsule to give it a nice weight and feel.  I regret that it is a poor representation of the brilliant colors and craftsmanship of the original.  

The original was small enough to fit in a film can, but that also meant it was small enough to be easily misplaced.

I still hope the original shows up some day, perhaps with tales of grand adventures.

Finally we dropped this little guy after holding it so long. Sorry to have kept it that long - it's just that winter in Oakridge was horrible this year and after making a move to Tahoe we finally unpacked everything and were able to start geocaching again. Thanks for sharing this little guy.
