    We just finished a week of sand bar camping on the river to celebrate out 25th wedding ann. We made it down to mile 450!!! a stay at "the landing" on Guttenberg was our only shore leave and it was incredible. Who needs Hawaii when we have the Mississippi

    We found this beautiful town accidentally. We are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary with a 7 day trip on the river in our fishing boat with sand bar camping. A storm came up and our Quimby guide book brought us to "Landing 615" & "The Landing". We have an amazing room with a view.

    We are taking our boat down the river for 7 days To celebrate our 25th wedding ann. We had to wait at the lock so we tied up and walked into town to explore. We met a couple on their honeymoon motorcycling to door county. Great day! Tftc! Got a smile on our map and Left a smiley face balloon .
