This travel bug was originally released to commemorate our one year geocaching anniversary and 200 finds back in 2003.   After 5 years and 13,860 miles it went missing (pretty good life span for a TB).     

In 2011, I'm releasing a second version, and we'll see if this one can match or better it's earlier cousin's travel record.

I was happy to see our TB ended up in such a nice spot. I took a photo, but left it in Where's Waldo - hopefully to be found and moved somewhere else equally nice that I will visit one day.

I haven't been grabbing as many TB's as I used to, but once in a while - if it hasn't moved in a long time - if it's cool, cute, interesting - if it belongs to someone I've met - I'll pick one up. I won't pick up a TB if it won't fit in my pocket. I will bring this to another cache and hope the owners had a nice Thanksgiving today.

Well, we didn't make it to Massachusetts... Mother Nature had other ideas. That freak storm in October trashed many a cacher's well-laid plans, including mine for this TB. So, here we are in Newtown, CT., waiting for another cacher to 'hook' this finny friend and move him on to a new adventure!

Spotted this finny critter and reeled him in. I see from the map he hasn't been to Massachusetts yet... time to add another state to his list!
