Well we made a meal of this one, firstly we wandered past nattering. Only by the odd few hundred metre! Then the gps was somewhat variable in its advice.
Fortunately we spotted something lurking in the hedge butt, and bingo prize in hand.

Very quiet today along this stretch of canal, only one boat chugged past us.
Whilst I concentrated on bashing the vegetation in a fruitless search Mr R made straight for the prize. Don’t know how quickly he found it, but he’d finished his lunch by the time I noticed his cheerful look of glee.

Nice quick find here, we did notice an abundance of unicorns in the surrounding fields, however they’ve hung up their horns for the festive break.
Logs a tad damp but as it’s a rir it’s quite ok.

Yippee we got one! After four DNFs we finally managed to find a cache!
Did take a wee while as there were three fellers sawing up a tree in the woods.
Well there was only one, but you know what I mean.
Obviously his attention was somewhat taken with the chainsaw so we were able to sneak around undetected.

When we arrived we discovered that Mr F had gone for a stroll. Obviously looking for candifloss and a kiss me quick hat!
We managed to convince Mr F to return to the seashore and left him reclining restfully in a very pleasant nook.
