A Girl Scout Journey

Hi! My name is Daisy. I am a tin Girl Scout Christmas tree ornament, and I am so much more. 

Together, you and I will be the world wide tour guide for a group of girls, ages 9-12, who are members of a worldwide sisterhood...Girl Scouts and Girl Guides.  Our journey begins in central North Carolina. I embody all of what makes Girl Scouts special.  A Girl Scout is honest and fair, friendly and helpful, considerate and caring, courageous and strong,and responsible for what she says and does.  Additionally, she  respects herself and others, respects authority, uses resources wisely, makes the world a better place, and is a sister to every Girl Scout.   My friends are building courage, confidence, and character as they become leaders who make the world a better place. 

Won't you take me on a journey to show my sisters the world they are working so hard to improve? My sisters hope to find me traversing the globe...enjoying the excitement of amusement parks around the US, savoring the beauty of our great nation, and enjoying the thrill of the adventure visiting foreign nations. I hope to visit the first World Center of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS), our Chalet in the Swiss Alps, in a valley of  Adelboden, before completing my journey in Savannah, Georgia, USA, where I hope to adorn a Christmas tree in the very home of our beloved founder, Juliette Gordon Lowe. 

Thank you for the adventure of a lifetime.  May our journey together be blessed and may the stories we share with my sisters show them just how big the world can be and invigorate an adventure spirit that they will carry with them forever.
