Der Name el Diablo ist das Symbol fuer die Feuerberge (Timanfaya) auf Lanzarote. Es wurde von César Manrique geschaffen.
Der Nationalpark Timanfaya (spanisch Parque Nacional de Timanfaya) auf der Kanareninsel Lanzarote wurde 1974 zum achten Nationalpark in Spanien erklärt. Er wird auch als Montañas del Fuego (Feuerberge) bezeichnet.
