Current Goal

This bug's original goal was to get to Plymouth, Massachusetts, where it's ancestors are from. The Pest has made it to it's first goal!!!! It's second goal was Plymouth, England, which it made in February, 2005. Now it's on to Leiden, Holland. Thanks to all.

Forefather's National Monument, Plymouth MA

Puritan Pest was placed in the cache called Birthday Bonanza on August 30, 2003. Our gang's ancestors left Plymouth, England on the Speedwell, which sprung a leak and had to return. They wound up in Leiden, Holland for several years before making it to Plymouth, Mass. The "Pest" is retracing their steps.

Saw that this TB wants to go back to it's routes, I'm on my way over to Scotland next month and I'm going to take him that far, I'm sure he can find his way south from there... the hardest part of his journey will be over.

Well unless spidy is planning on swimming the Atlantic or going across the Bering Straits, I don't quite see how Maine is going to help. I was just in England over Christmas and did a geocache there. I wish I had him then!

Anyway, it's back to Massachusetts for him. I am currently reading Harvard Yard by William Martin. It is an exciting account of the Puritans founding Harvard University. I think I will try to find a geocache there as it seems like a good stop hopefully on his way to Logan Airport, maybe with some English student.
