CURRENT GOAL: Travel to other Revolutionary War or independence-related historical sites like Williamsburg or Yorktown, VA . . . Boston, MA . . . Fort Ticonderoga . . . or even Monmouth Battlefield here in Central New Jersey!
ORIGINAL GOAL (Completed in November 2014): To visit Philadelphia and Washington, DC -- two focal points of the 1976 Bicentennial! Thanks to dak attack [Philadelphia] and photogirl121 [DC] for helping this trackable fulfill its original goal!
I was 10 years old when my country, the United States, celebrated its Bicentennial in 1976. Everything in the U.S. back then revolved around the Bicentennial! Now, almost 40 years later, it seems like a dream whose details I can't remember. However, this Eagle, which I found in my parents' basement, is a reminder of the Bicentennial celebration.
