This Owl is being sent on a quest to visit the 4 countries that host the World Centres of WAGGS (World Association of Girl Guides & Girl Scouts) and then to return back to us in North Vancouver, BC, CANADA for a new mission.

The Brown Owl is being sent on this quest by the 2nd Seymour Girl Guides in North Vancouver, who are also placing 2 caches in their local area while learning about and exploring geocaching. As the girls fly up to different levels of girl guiding so will the responsibility of caring for the caches/tackable, under the supervision of their unit leader "harmonyf" an avid geocacher.
We look forward to following Brown Owl's journey online and hope that it achieves its ultimate goal! Thank you to everyone that helps it on its way.

The significance of the "Owl" symbol in guiding:
"The adult leader in charge is usually called Brown Owl. Other leaders are often named after different owls. These two elements are taken from the Brownie Story, in which two children visit the Brown Owl in the wood to learn how they can help doing the housework."
