The original Barnwood was a metal trackable tag bearing an image of a rabbit on one side and the tracking number etched on the reverse. Sadly this was stolen.
This is a relaunch with a golden metal rabbit and a Copy Tag carrying the tracking number. A keyring is also attached that provides information about the mission for those geocachers who don’t have instant internet access out in the woods.
Local attractions, artistic muses, cost-effective lawnmowers . . . for a family of rabbits, the Barnwood Bunnies have achieved quite a bit!
Their tiny haven on a roundabout intersecting a number of very busy roads has earned them almost celebrity status amongst the people of Gloucester, UK, and throughout every summer passers-by continue to be astounded as the rabbits seem completely unfazed by the enormous lorries roaring past them.
They even seem to have learned and passed down through generations that the road around their island is a place you should never go (quite right too!) - proving that there can be a place for wild animals to exist in busy cities, however limited those possibilities may be.
