Devil Ducky Derby Racer: Zebra

This was the 'real deal' for Zebra and he was quite in awe of some of the near and distant relations he encountered here today. I can't do justice to it until I can upload pictures - next weekend - but all will be revealed then.

I will also be releasing Zebra to continue his travels with other cachers then as I am feeling a tad guilty about monopolising him!

Zebra couldn't understand why these flying machines were so large, complicated and ugly compaed to his own sleek and efficent form. I said nothing 😉

Zebra enjoyed a discrete splash in the fountain - not font! - here to cool off on a hot SA day. I will upload picces as soon as i have all the necessary technology ie the right cable!

This seemed like a good place to take Zebra as he was feeling full of beans and was keen to 'party, party' so we visited here together and I then let him off on his own on condition that he meet me back at the entrance in a couple of hours.

Although he thoroughly enjoyed his time here and made some new friends he was quite taken aback when he met the crocodiles - especially as it was feeding time and it was all a bit graphic ( I think he was quite worried about what they were actually eating?)

However, than was more than made up for by the having the wierd experience of meeting some zebras that had four legs and no wings?!

Much as he would have liked to stay longer I persuaded Z to continue his travels with me

Boy oh boy we had a fight at this one, Zebra was really quite determined to have a swim in the mighty Apies river and no amount of persuading could convince him that it might not be safe for him - I guess he has never seen a crocodile (although he has now but that is another story) or a water snake. Anyway he was in a right strop about this and didn't come round until after we got to back to the Damhuis_Clan house and he was able to use their lovely swimming pool!
