De Hollandse KlompHello, I'm Travelbug "De Hollandse Klomp". The translation of my name is "The Dutch Clog". Clogs are a type of footwear made completely from wood. Although wooden shoes were also worn in other countries, the full wooden clog is typically Dutch. The clog was an outdoor shoe. It protected feet and kept them nice and warm. 

Clogs are used worldwide and although the form may vary by culture, within a culture the form often remained unchanged for centuries.This Travelbug-clog is a typical one from The Netherlands (Holland), called "Klomp".
