Encourage people to stand up and take action when they witness animal cruelty taking place
This dog was found tied up in known coyote country by xxBriGuyxx and DustyRiver while geocaching on Oct 15, 2015. A search of the area turned up no owner. Dog appeared to be very hungry and thirsty. The dog appeared to have an extreme fear of men. How long the dog had been tied to a tree, waiting to be found by coyotes is unknown.
No “chip” was found when checked by a veterinarian. No tags were found on the dog, .
The dog was adopted by the family of xxBriGuyxx and L.A.M.B.S quickly. The dog was named “Travel Bug” but quickly became known as “Bugs” by new family. Today “Bugs” enjoys life with a caring family.
Did Divine intervention step in and put geocachers in the field that day, thus saving “Bugs” from a coyote fate? This will never be known.
My personal thoughts about a person who disposes of a pet by tying it up for coyotes to find will not be discussed here as this is a child-friendly forum. You can have your own thoughts.
Every rescued dog needs their own “Rat Rod” travel bug. Help this TB travel from cache to cache, loggging visits. Spreading the word that animal cruelty stopped by one person taking action times millions of people. Just little steps by millions turns into a very big step to stop animal cruelty..

Very cool tribute to Bugs. She quickly became a member of the family, and the Geohooders mascot. When we found her she was also showing signs of just having puppies. None were found. It's a mystery to us on how she got there, one we will never know.
