Personal Travel Bug

About This Item

been there

This is my personal travel bug which tracks my geocaching miles and experiences. It is currently attached to my backpack that I take on all my travels and nearly all my cache hunts.

1. If we meet (for the first time) anywhere in the world in search of a cache and you ask, "Are you worldtraveler?" before I identify myself as such, I'll initiate or renew your premium membership for 1 year at my expense.

2. If you want, you can log this travel bug as "discovered" on the date we meet.

3. $100 USD for returning this travel bug tag and backpack if I lose them.

I wasn't really planning to search for a geocache today. I came to the island to battle the Pokémon Go gym and place one of Pokémon here. After doing that and visiting a Pokémon stop, I thought there would probably be a cache nearby, so I opened the app and sure enough- this was less than 50 feet from the Pokémon stop.
TNLNSL. Thanks for placing the cache here. Log and contents were in good condition. Left everything as I found it.

I did reconnaissance earlier and couldn't make sense of the shape when I first spotted it. I decided to return later under cover of dark to avoid suspicion, and the shape was obvious once I had it in hand. Then I thought I might not be able to get the cap off, but soon discovered I was trying to twist the wrong part. Once opened, I signed the log and put in coins from Asia and Europe before returning everything as I found it. Thanks to the owner for the clever hide. I did the same thing on one leg of a multi I created many years ago.

As others have noted, my iPhone was directing me into the road. I was puzzled by the cache name initially, but I eventually understood. Finding the cache was not difficult after that. Retrieving the log scroll was the next challenge, but I managed it with my Victorinox Swiss Army tweezers and eyeglass screwdriver. I signed the log and returned the cache exactly as I found it. Thanks to the hider and those who have maintained it.

I have been taking the granddaughters here for bowling and fun several times the last couple weeks and decided to look for a cache while out. This was very convenient, and the coords were dead on for my iPhone 6. TNLNSL. thanks for placing this cache.

Enjoying a morning walk away from the hotel. Found this one easily on the way back. The cache contained two log scrolls. I signed the smaller one. TNLN. Owner, thanks for hiding this cache.

In town on business and decided to walk from hotel to nearest Starbucks. This cache was only about 1 block farther. Not much traffic at this time of morning, and I used the hint to avoid spending too much time searching. Found it without difficulty. Cache contained a crisp log page and a few stretchy bracelets. TNLNSL.
Owner, thanks for hiding and maintaining this cache. It provided a good reason to extend my walk this morning.

I really like Whereigo caches, and this was a thoroughly enjoyable cache hunting experience. The story was well thought out and executed. It took me awhile to find the tiny container, but the most difficult part was rolling the log scroll small enough to fit back inside after I signed it.
Thanks to Agito for creating this cache.

I've walked by this one several times during the past few days, but there were always people around. I decided to do a quick grab this morning before the businesses opened. I signed the log and left coins from Malaysia and Europe. Took nothing.
