Being new to GeoCaching and not understanding that Gumby's goal was to get to South Boston in Mass, Gumby took a car ride all the way to Sackville New Brunswick in Canada. He was able to cross the border without a passport!! It was intended that he would be put in a cache in the Sackville area. When GoodCache logged Gumby into the system, Team Gumby pleaded that Gumby not go to Canada. Oops, he was already in transit. He was mailed from Sackville NB back to CT to GoodCache. Then by special request of Team Gumby, he was sent via US mail from Ashford Connecticut to the intended receipent on September 16th, 2005. That was a close one but it is hopeful that Gumby made it to his targeted destination.

Gumby was picked up and has headed further east. Should be placed in a new cache within a week or so as he is headed for Canada. This was our first ever cache and it was neat to find Gumby with a Travel Bug Dog Tag.

Found this bug in my 50th cache find. Gumby was the best cartoon every, remember the episode when they went to space!! Crazy stuff. Will move him northward.
