A very special coin, given to me by the best kind of friends - geocaching friends!
This coin was given to me at the Chicken and Eggs (GC6ANGZ) event - my geo-hen-night!
What an amazing night (event though I did cry!).
The event was organised by cep99 and Duck Tales, and was attended by my geofriends from all over the island.
As I was reading the 'log book' in the 'geocache' present I was given I realised that only a few short years ago I hadn't even heard of this hobby, and now here I am surrounded by the best bunch of people one could ever wish to meet and whom I am now delighted to consider some of my very best friends.
It meant a lot to me when I realised the co-ordination involved in preparing all of the gifts I was given over course of the event, meet ups all over Ireland, travelling log books, sharing of photos and goodness only knows what else went on behind the scenes, and all to wish me the best for my wedding day.
Where else would you get friends like that?
