Take me around the world, I want to visit as many places as possible. Please post photos of me in all the amazing locations I explore.
This travel bug is from Ketchikan, Alaska. In 1959 Alaska became the 49th State of the United States of America. Alaska is the largest State in the US, it is more than twice as big as Texas, but Alaska's population is only about 736,000 people. Ketchikan is on an island in Southeast Alaska, surrounded by the Pacific Ocean and the Tongass National Forest which is a temperate rainforest.
My key chain resembles the Alaska State Flag. The blue background represents the sky, sea, mountain lakes and wildflowers. The Star Constellation is the Big Dipper and North Star. These represent strength and Alaska's northern location. Our flag was designed by a 13 year old boy.
