To travel far and wide around the world taking as many photos possible, and picking up the odd story or two
This Travel Bug along with its friends, Hungry (to travel) Hippo and Hungry (to travel) Butterfly is dedicated to my parents R&J who are having to stop their travelling due to ill health.
This is a major blow to them and so I thought that it would be nice if a TB (or two) go travelling on their behalf taking photos of the surrounding areas and posting them.
I would appreciate it if the travel bug could travel to many different locations and specifically many different countries as my mother has a penchant for places of geographic interest. If there are stories / facts of interest on the way please do let us know as my parents will be keeping a close eye on the TB logs.
This TB is specifically for my dad, I know that really, it looks like a dolphin but to keep the manly theme for dad I have decided that it is a shark :-)
Sadly my mother died of Ovarian Cancer in May 2008 after a short stay in hospital. Ironically they stopped travelling due to my father's failing health :-(
