GCC 2018-11 - Thread of Fate

...Clotho, Lachesis und Atropos - die drei Moiren der griechischen Mythologie, Töchter des Zeus, die den Lebensfaden spinnen (Clotho, die Spinnerin), die uns Anteil an dem Leben zuteilen und ihn halten (Lachesis, die Zuteilerin, die die Länge bemisst) und ihn letztlich abschneiden (Atropos, die den Lebensfaden abschneidet). Hier sind die drei Moiren in einer "Person" dargestellt. Das Insekt trägt das Lebensmotto: Ein Faden wird gesponnen, das Schicksal ist gesetzt, die Schere wartet. Eine wirklich schöne Coin, die nun auch in unsere Sammlung wandert!!

...Clotho, Lachesis and Atropos - the three Moires in ancient Greek mythology, daughters of mighty Zeus, that spin thread of life (Clotho, the spinner), that measures the thread of life to each person (Lachesis, the allotter) and that finally cut it when time has come (Atropos, the inexorable). Right here the three moires are shown in one "person". The insect shows the theme of the coin: A threast is spun - A destiny is set - The shears await. Another pretty coin getting into our collection now.

Hier sind ja echt einige sehr seltene Coins mit spannenden Symbolen dabei, mir persönlich gefallen insbesondere die mit geschichtlichem Hintergrund. Vielen Dank fürs Zeigen!
