first launched in 1978, 24 satellites in a 10,900 mile high orbit, transmitting at a frequency of 1575.42MHz. If it wasn't for these bad boys Geocaching wouldn't exist.

I rode 40 miles with my bicycle to discover this nice geocoin.

it is located near my work and just went to look a geocoin. BTW it is located about 200m near of one of the two GPS measurement points in Latvia. It is done to observe GPS satellites orbits and some other parameters.
