Barry the Flatback

I'm Barry, and I'm a Flatback Turtle.

Me and my mates are starting to get low in numbers at home so I'm off to see if I can find other flatbacks around the world! Flatbacks are generally only found in the waters surrounding Australia and Papua New Guinea, so any destination outside OZ is cool!

I like to eat sea cucumbers, jellyfish, mollusks, prawns and seaweed, so caches near the ocean would be nice, but if I happen to find myself heading inland, then I can check up on my land-bound mates.

I'm happy to travel through caches around Australia, but if you're heading overseas in the next 3 weeks then take me with you if you can!

We visited the "Ozeaneum" today. This is am museum about oceanography and has some great aquaria too. There were only fishes, starfishes, jellyfishes, but no turtles. But Barry saw a lot of different oceans today :-) (Baltic Sea, North Sea, Atlantic Ocean, Pacific Ocean - at least in theory). Happy journey!

RodatosClan and I cached together last weekend at the Baltic Sea. Unfortunately there was no cache large enough to drop the cute turtle. That is why I grabbed Barry to drop it in Stralsund (a city at the Baltic Sea)
