June 2010 : A special request -
This unusual geocoin has done the rounds in SA for a few years (actually 3 years today!!).

We would really like to get it back home and put it into our geocoin collection, so if you can find a way of getting it to Mpumalanga, we'd really appreciate it.

Update January 2011 : Big thanks to c-side who retrieved this coin for us in the Eastern Cape, and gave us a stunning personal tour of the South African Large Telescope (SALT) at Sutherland (where he works), when we went there to fetch it from him. So, now this coin is back in our collection, and we'll proudly show it off at events, and to visitors at home for many years to come....
