About This Item

Know your bike and how to use it:

Practice!

Develop your riding techniques before going into heavy traffic. Know how to handle your bike in conditions such as wet or sandy roads, high winds, and uneven surfaces.

Remember: Give yourself space. People driving cars often just don’t see motorcycles. Even when drivers do see you, chances are they’ve never been on a motorcycle and can’t properly judge your speed.

While I was finding this I found out later that day that a friend died while out enjoying the fall colors. Deer jumped out in front of their cycle. Helmet may be all that saved his wife. Safety on cycles is a great message. Sorry about the loss of your friend. Will get this up to the north shore this weekend.
