Current Goal

This geocoin was made by Amberel, to celebrate a series of geocaches known as the Way Around Dearden. The series lies in the hills that are between Rossendale, Edenfield, Bury and Rochdale. Dearden Brook joins the Irwell at Stubbins, though the upper reaches take you into the heart of the upland area. The series has all that you want as a cacher, hills, views, remote valley and solitude. From up high you can see North Wales, The Peak District, Bowland Fells, Yorkshire Dales and much more. The coin would just like to be taken to wild places.

    Not sure if it was a wilde place here, the wildest things might be the cows in this area. But we did have to climb a fence to get to cache, it seems it was located further away than it should have been. If we would have touched the electric fence attached to it, it might have be a different story 😉.
