Current Goal

For one weekend each October, members of the Forest of Dean Scout District take part in JOTA (Jamboree on the Air) & JOTI (Jamboree on the Internet).  These are organised events where Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Network & Leaders can chat to other Scouts all over the globe, making some new friends & contacts worldwide.  This is done through safe and moderated chat rooms & amateur radio.

During the 2015 event, the subject of Geocaching was brought up, and we decided to set a trackable loose to see how far it could travel.

Our goal is simple, but our journey is long (hopefully) - We wish to travel to as many of the countries where we chatted to their Scouts over the JOTA/JOTI weekend.
