About This Item

This trackable made possible by: Angela Cooper

One night in Altus, OK US I woke up in the middle of the night. My mom was still up with some of her friends. One who was detangling christmas lights that were plugged in. I decided to join him. We got them detangled. Then, I don't even remember whose idea it was, we started jumping rope, with christmas lights that were plugged in. Highly recommend it.

Recommend carpet to reduce the chance of breakage and try to keep the rope from hitting the ground. Dim lights as well.

Origins of "hido," K.D., and the road trip

"Hido" was a greeting my mother, Kathy Bruce started saying in the mid-nineties. It was a consolidation of, "Hi, how are you doing?" into one word. Like Namaste for Enlgish speakers.

Mom's middle initial was "D". Katie was the name of her grandmother (her mom's mom). First initial plus middile initial, phonetically results in the same sound.

The Hido K.D. Road Trip is a tribute to my mother who passed away March 1st, 2019. She loved road trips and traveling. These trackables let her keep doing so for however long they last..
