JACOUNCE Academy
Associação de Artes | Marca Registada de Ensino de Dança
A JACOUNCE - Associação de Artes foi formalizada em 2021, depois de 5 anos de desenvolvimento e promoção da Dança na Freguesia de Águas Santas.
A marca JACOUNCE foi registada em 2019 e todos os direitos autorais pertencem a Alexandra Santos Silva, fundadora e diretora da JACOUNCE Academy.
A JACOUNCE Academy dispõe de duas salas de ensaio, +30 horas semanais de aulas de formação, dentro dos estilos de Ballet, Contemporâneo, Dancehall, Hip Hop, House, entre outros. Conta com 6 professoras e 100 alunos divididos entre os escalões de formação e equipas de competição. Promove formações e workshops com professores nacionais e internacionais.
É regularmente convidada para diversas atuações, tais como participações televisivas, parcerias, espetáculos e eventos por todo o país.
A JACOUNCE Academy dinamiza anualmente um campo de férias "Summer Camp", em colaboração com a Junta de Freguesia de Águas Santas, bem como diversas semanas temáticas na academia com os mais variados temas e ainda a "Gala dos Diamantes", gala de atribuição de prémios aos alunos e professores que mais se destacaram durante a época a nível de formação e competição.
Anualmente produz dois espetáculos originais no final de época e no Natal.

O projeto de competição "U" Project nasceu em 2018.
Através de audições anuais ou convite por parte das professoras, os alunos são convidados a integrar as equipas de competição da próxima época desportiva. Os selecionados são colocados à prova em todos os treinos, para se apresentarem no seu melhor em todas as competições da época. O sistema de faltas é bastante rígido e um dos principais motivos de seleção de alunos.

**JACOUNCE Academy
Arts Association | Registered Dance Education Brand**
JACOUNCE – Arts Association was formalized in 2021, after 5 years of developing and promoting dance in the parish of Águas Santas.
The JACOUNCE brand was registered in 2019, and all copyrights belong to Alexandra Santos Silva, founder and director of the JACOUNCE Academy.
The JACOUNCE Academy has two rehearsal rooms and offers over 30 hours of weekly training classes in Ballet, Contemporary, Dancehall, Hip Hop, House, among other styles. It has 6 teachers and 100 students divided between training levels and competition teams. It promotes training and workshops with both national and international teachers.
It is regularly invited to perform at various events such as TV appearances, partnerships, shows, and events across the country.
Each year, JACOUNCE Academy organizes a “Summer Camp” in collaboration with the Parish Council of Águas Santas, as well as themed weeks at the academy with a variety of topics and the “Gala of Diamonds,” an awards ceremony recognizing the students and teachers who stood out the most during the season in terms of training and competition.
It annually produces two original shows, one at the end of the season and one at Christmas.

The "U" Project competition team began in 2018.
Through annual auditions or by invitation from the teachers, students are invited to join the competition teams for the upcoming sports season. Selected dancers are rigorously trained to perform at their best in every competition. The absence policy is very strict and one of the main criteria for team selection.
