Eric holding Race for Home (R). Stopped by this historic site before placing Race for Home (R) into Trolley Line # 9, Sorry we couldn't get you further north but now it is close to Rt 95. Hope you can still come in 2nd. Good Luck - Team Sol

TB on the Cache It is fairly easy to spot this "Orange ya' glad ya' found me" cache.

Detail on Plaque This small valley was a sawmill and a resort in the early 1900's. A wagon would bring travelers up 2,600 vertical feet to the valley from Ogden, Utah. Remnants of the sawmill and resort still exist in the basin.

Malan's Basin and Race for Home (R) TB The TB landed on a plaque in the middle of Malan's Basin, UT. Snow is about 24" deep, temp is in the high 20's. Looking east toward the cache and just over the peaks is Snowbasin--site of the 2002 Olympic downhill. Elevation at the plaque is about 6,800 feet.
