Did you know the total steelwork weighs 52,800 tonnes, including 39,000 tonnes in the arch and not one of the pieces of steel in the arch is curved. Thats right every piece of steel in the bridge is straight.
Andy did you know that 272,000 litres of paint were required to give the Bridge its initial three coats.
