Crown Plaza Hotel in Shanghai All these hotels we stayed in were very luxurious. China Spree (our tour company) really treated us well with great meals and lodging.

American Beauty's and Old World Floribundas Our final rest before heading to California was here. Adjacent to a quiet and very well maintained rose garden that is definitely worth seeing. Fragrant and gorgeous with color. #15 thought it was a little silly that there were gates but no locks. There was a brief moment that I thought #15 might decide to stay in the City of Roses, but with the promise of more travel ahead there was a quick reconsideration. It has been a great journey with #15, but now it is time to say goodbye and thanks

Somethings fishy here! On to Seattle where we stayed for 4 fabulous nights on the top of Capitol Hill. We had a top floor view of the city all the way to the water. #15 stayed away from picking up any friends this time, but did enjoy trying to get into all those old locks that were found on the underground tour. I decided #15 would NOT go with me when I went to the Space Needle. Troublemaker....

Cha-ching! When you head west it is required that you hit at least one Casino. This one was GREAT....indoor pool, hot tubs, and BIG comfortable rooms with stunning views. Can't get THAT in South Dakota now can you? #15 picked up a friend, but after lots of conversation we both could see that the story #5109 was telling us was full of holes. Let's go drop some dollars on the 21 table shall we?
